Through the cooperative efforts of the entire Matanzas School community, a safe, supportive environment is provided in which teachers, staff, and parents model the importance and excitement of learning. We seek to build a strong academic foundation upon which students can become lifelong learners. Individual skills and talents are nurtured and respected. The development of positive character traits that enable students to make responsible choices is a priority.

Matanzas, a California Distinguished school, is proud of the reputation it has earned for providing K-6 grade students with an outstanding educational program. The challenging curriculum, outstanding teaching instruction, strong community involvement, and safe, caring environment provide children with the needed ingredients for becoming successful students and members of our society.

As you can see, we are just getting started. We are looking for parents or staff at Matanzas to supply us with information for this site or to maintain this site for your school.
